Snow melting on the roof

Snow on the roof can be challenging both due to the amount and weight load, and in the worst case, lead to major damage to the roof. It is advisable to remove the snow before it becomes too wet and heavy.

Area: 800m2 roof

By using hydronic heat, you can remove snow safely and efficiently.
First, HeatWork hoses are evenly distributed over the roof at a given intervals/distances.

It is then ready for connection to the HeatWork machine to heat the system. The hot fluid circulates in the hoses and melts the snow. The machine is switched on and off as needed. The hoses can lie on the roof for many years – and wait for next winter.

On this project, large parts of the snow have melted in just one day.
